Silence might be easier… but it’s not better
I understand not wanting to drag something out—that part is fair.
But disappearing without saying anything doesn’t really solve the problem… it just shifts the discomfort onto the other person.
A simple, honest sentence might feel harder in the moment, but it leaves things a lot cleaner than silence ever does.
